My Life as a Diamond​

Present Moment Pictures was launched by Matthew Kowalchuk, who produced, co-wrote and directed the hilarious and life-affirming, LAWRENCE & HOLLOMAN (Canadian Comedy Award, Best Feature). The company is committed to telling stories relevant to our here and now; visceral tales of the people who make up our world and our lives.​

MY LIFE AS A DIAMOND represents co-screenwriter Ollie Hebert’s first feature in development. His activism in the 2SLGBTQIA* community started when he was 15 years old and came out as queer. Ollie came out as trans-masculine and queer in his 20’s. Ollie is a recent graduate of Vancouver Acting School’s full time Screenwriting Intensive.​

Quadrant Motion Pictures was founded by producer Mary Anne Waterhouse, (FIDO, BUFFALOED, KODACHROME, and the newly released: 13 THE MUSICAL), and acclaimed writer/director/producer Andrew Currie (FIDO, World Premiere TIFF 2007; THE STEPS, World Premiere, TIFF 2015). Their newest feature THE INVISIBLES, goes into production January 2023.​
